Study of Isaiah, Part 2
As we continue our study of Isaiah, it becomes very apparent that Judah is in a downward spiral. Sinfulness is permeating every aspect of society. The cost of sin? Separation from God.
Study of Isaiah, Part 1
God asks several questions in the first chapters of Isaiah: (1) Why Should you be beaten anymore? (2) Why do you persist in rebellion? (3) What more could have been done? All good questions. Let's look at the passage and see if we can find some answers.
A Certain Person, A Certain Time, A Certain Place
Isn't it amazing how God has certain people at a certain time at a certain place? How can he do that? He is God, the great I am, not the I was, nor I will be, but the great I Am. He puts specific people in specific times for a specific purpose.
The Blessed Life, Part 5
Living a blessed life is much more than material blessing, it is having the best of God's blessings and not settling for good or better, but receiving all that God has for us.
The Blessed Life, Part 4
God desires us to live a blessed life. A blessed life does not always mean material blessings but rather blessings of God's favor. Those blessings often come through our choices. What we choose and how we choose to life. Let's look at part 4 of a blessed life.
The Blessed Life, Part 3
Psalm 1 speaks of two men: the Godly and the Ungodly. We could say blessed and cursed. God's desire for us is to be content. He desires to bless us not curse us. What is the secret of living a blessed life?

Regardless of who we are and how old we may be, there comes a time that we must man up.
We must be strong, be courageous, and be careful. It's time to man up!
Rewards, Part 2
Often we think of obtaining the Crowns of Scripture as this difficult process. Let us see a basic understanding of these Crowns in Scripture and how to obtain them.
Rewards, Part 1
A call to action to build up others. Our reward is not pearls and gold. Instead, our reward is helping others be successful in Christ Jesus in life and eternity.
Holding Steady
The story of Balaam is a lot more than a talking donkey. It is a story about a man who lost his focus, he lost his purpose, he lost his way. Let's learn from Balaam and keep our focus, let's stay the course.
The 2022 Pathway to Personal Power
A special presentation by Dr. James O. Davis, originally recorded live on Sunday, January 30, 6pm and released on Sunday, February 6, 6pm.
Let’s Run A Marathon
Last week we spoke of orienting our compass or determining where we are. After we determine where we are we must go forward. We must make the first step; we must go to the starting line each and every day to run our race. Our race normally is not a sprint it is a marathon and each and every day begins the same. Taking the first step.
Let’s Orientate!
With all the challenges going on around us, I believe God is leading us to refocus and regroup. To do that, the first question we must ask ourselves is, "Where am I?"
What Is Childlike Faith?
Without faith, it is impossible to please God. At the feeding of the 5000, Jesus and his disciples teach us what it means to have childlike faith.
The Idol of Popularity
It's safe to say that most people want to be liked by others, it's just our human nature. Trying to please others may not seem like a big deal, but if we exalt it above pleasing God, then we have a problem. In this message, we'll take a look at a passage that highlights a time when even though some leaders of Israel believed that Jesus was the Messiah, they refused to make the proclamation of faith in fear of being ostracized by others.
