Sleeping On Too Short A Bed With Not Enough Cover

The nation of Israel had developed a problem: they had begun to trust in everything but God. He prophesied about the Rock that the Church would be built upon. He spoke of a time of judgment and encouraged the people to put their trust in God. He used the analogy that failing to trust in God was like trying to sleep on too short a bed with not enough cover. He enables us to understand God is near. We just have to reach out to Him and take advantage of His blessings.
