When Adam and Eve left the Garden, they left the intimacy with God they had shared. The door was closed behind them and it would take the giving of the Lamb's life to open it again. Because Jesus was the door, His body was torn so the veil could be torn and entrance to the Presence of God could be found by whoever opened the door.
