The Lord is my Shepherd

ScripturesPsalm 23:1, John 10:1-18, Isaiah 49:15-16

Summary: When David penned the words "The Lord is my shepherd", he knew exactly the meaning of shepherd. He was one, so he understood the love and care the shepherd provides for his sheep. It was not "he will be" or "he has been", but "he is". He is a right now personal shepherd and protector of his sheep. Are you one of His or a member of his flock, or one that just spends time around the flock because of his protection, comfort and provision?
